This is a little mental game I like to do when I'm bored: What would various superheroes be like if they existed in the Pokemon world?
I don't mean, what Pokemon they would be (except maybe in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon) but rather, how they would be described in game terms: Types, Abilities, moves etc. I thought I'd share this with you people for the LOLZ. (And maybe a fic?)
I'm going to avoid numbers such as Levels and Stats because I don't like doing the math, at least for now.
OK, let's start with THE superhero: Superman!
SUPERMAN
Types: Fighting/Psychic
Ability: Chlorophyll
Moves: Strength, Heat Wave, Fly, Extremespeed
- He's a Psychic type because I'm going with the version whose powers were all Psionic in origin.)
- Chlorophyll represents the fact he gets his powers from sunlight.
- Heat Wave was the closest thing to heat vision I could find.
- His invulnerability is covered by very high Defense and Special Defense Stats.
More later. Hey, post your own ideas if you want! Come on, you know you want to see how Wolverine would do against Pikachu! ) This site can help: [1]

Spider-man
Types: Fighting/Bug
Possible Abilities: Arena Trap, Anticipation, Justified (hidden ability).
Possible Moves: Superpower, Close Combat, String Shot, Spider Web, Detect, Endure, Reversal, virtually all punch moves.
He could evolve into his totem form, gaining some Bug-type STAB with Bug Bite and X-Scissor.

This is about converting other characters to Pokemon. Besides Gligarman was laaame.
Like that!
More examples!
The Incredible Hulk
Type: Normal/Fighting
Ability: Zen Mode
Moves: Strength, Bounce, Rage
- The types represent how he's both a man and a monster.
- Similarly Zen Mode represent his transformations.
- Bounce is because he can leap really far.
- Rage is because "The madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets!"
Working on: Storm, Wolverine.
PS: Anybody know where I can find a table comparing Pokemon Stats? Eg. which is the weakest, which is the strongest etc. so I can figure which stats the heroes should have as well.

- The Juggernaut bitch
- Dark/Fighting
- Intimidate or Moxie
- Moves:
- Seismic Toss
- Rage
- Mega Punch
- Superpower
- Dark/Fighting because The Juggernaut's immune to psychic attacks in the comics (Don't worry, he's still weak to Bug and Flying)
- Intimidate because he's the Juggernaut, bitch. Moxie because Juggernaut seems like the type to wipe out six opponents in one go.

Yeah, like that. Should've known Bulbapedia would have one. Thanks.
Not that I know of.
Sure!
Here's Storm, though I'm not 100% sure about her yet.
Storm
Type: Electric
Ability: Cloud 9
Moves: Defog, Fly, Thunderbolt, Whirlwind
- I think she should have a second or even a third type, since weather = water, air, heat and lightning. But not sure which, except for Electric.
- Cloud 9 actually prevents the use of all Weather moves by everybody, including the user, so something else might be better.
- Obviously, she could learn any of the Weather moves (Rain Dance, Hail etc.) but they're more of ability boosters/deboosters (eg, Rain Dance decreases the power of Fire moves) and I wanted to show her more typical power stunts.
Btw, nothing stops us from creating our own superheroes with all this stuff!

Kenshiro
Type: Fighting/ Psychic
Ability: Inner Focus / Iron Fist.
Attacks:
- Bulk Up/ Calm Mind
- Aura Sphere
- Agility
- Double Team
- Extreme Speed
- all the Punch moves
- Meteor Mash.
- Flash Cannon.
- Energy Ball
Has really high Attack and special attack along with relatively high Def and Special Defence, but is rather good all around in other stats, and has a base stat total equal to a low legendary/ Pseudo Legendary. His evolved form would be himself in part 2 of Fist of the North Star during the Kaioh Arc, where his base Stat Total would be equal to Mewtwo and legendaries of similar base stat totals.

Re: Speedball- why does he get Detect and Simple Beam? Otherwise OK, and LOL at his "evolving" into Penance!
Storm has a Snow Form? Haven't read X Men in years. I do recall when she went Crazy Storm Goddess though (on the X-Men's battle with Doctor Doom.)
Wow, Wolverine turned out almost exactly the same as I was thinking!
Taskmaster cannot copy superpowers, only skills. I would give him a lot of Fighting Moves instead.
Kenshiro is awesome!
Working on more characters, including the Fantastic Four. More soon!

Type: Water/Flying
Ability: Lightning Rod
Moves: Trash, Revenge, Dive, Ariel Ace

Nice. But why Lightning Rod?
Fun fact: Namor used to have the powers of all sea creatures including things like a puffer fish or an electric eel (I have an old Fantastic Four comic where he used them so it's canon) it's just been forgotten without adequate explanation (maybe they found it silly. Like flying with ankle wings makes sense.)
Still not done with Fantastic Four, so here's
Iron Man
Type: Steel/Electric
Ability: Battle Armor
Moves: Strength, Flash, Hyper-Beam
- Not entirely happy here, because there were several other abilities (like Motor Drive) and moves I could've added. Hmm. Maybe each Iron Man special suit should be treated separately. (As "evolutions?"
)
- Note that Shellhead doesn't fave Fly. The reason for this is that I only give it to characters that fly great distances and can carry people with them. Iron Man rarely does either (fuel limit?)
- I wanted to add a fourth Move but couldn't decide which. Suggestions? (and no, you aren't limited to four moves, I just do that for ease of description.) Someone like Doctor Strange probably can learn dozens of moves.)

Lightning Rod because Namor has the ability to control and redirect electricity(kind of necessary for an underwater hero). In battle, fly just involves going up high and landing on someone. The HM's field effect doesn't actually have you ride on the Pokemon, it creates a giant bird to carry you. Compare when N and Alder take off in Black and White. The former actually rides the Pokemon, the latter just uses the HM. I think Ironman would have Rotom's form changes. Maybe bleeding edge would be an "evolution".
Type: Ice/Water
Ability: Solid Rock
Moves: Lock on, Sheer Cold, Scald, Recover
He'd be just as much of a game breaker as he is in the X-men comics.

Ah, I see why Lightning Rod now, and that ties with his old sea animal powers too.
Anybody who can fly can (in theory) divebomb his foes. But not all flying pokemon can learn Fly, so I'm not giving it to all the heroes just because they can fly.
Nice idea re: Rotom! :)
Elemental heroes such as Iceman work particularly well here. In his case he literally evolved from a guy covered in ice to one *made* of ice!
Sure, villains are fair game too! And LOL at Joker having Contrary, he'd just baffle anyone trying to weaken him! How about Batman?
Speaking of villains:
The Absorbing Man(this guy [1])
Type: Fighting
Ability: Multitype
Moves: Camouflage, Gyro Ball, Natural Gift, Nature Power, possibly Judgment too.
- Creel transforms into any substance he touches. With Multitype, that would be held plate items; and with Camouflage, his surroundings. His basic type is Fighting (he's a huge man.)
- He gains powers from objects he touches, thus Nature Power (surroundings) and Natural Gift (berries). And if he ever gets his hands on Arceus' plates, Judgment!
- Gyro Ball is because he attacks with a ball-and-chain.

Revivan.
- Steel/Bug
- Ability:Anger Point
Base Stats
- HP:90
- Atk:100
- Def:87
- Spe. Atk:115
- Spe. Def:100
- Speed:109
Movepool
- Consists mainly of various physical and special attacks, including Bug Buzz, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Flamethrower, Brick Break, Superpower, the Elemental Punches, Boltbeam, Dragon Claw, and other things. Also has a support movepool in Thunder Wave, Cosmic Power, Baton Pass, and dual screens.
Notes
- Steel/Bug because he's a bug thing with armor.
- Standard "versatile mixed sweeper" set.
- Anger Point because a pissed-off Annihilus is not something you wanna see.
Yeah, poorly done. Can someone please redo this?
